Clara Raquel Epstein, MD is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon with Subspecialty Fellowship Training in Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disorders and Stereotactic Radiosurgery & Neurosurgical Oncology.

Dr. Epstein has experience and has completed specialty training in both complex spine interventions and minimally invasive techniques in surgical approaches to the spine, including treatment of the aging spine and adult spinal deformities.

Dr. Epstein is also actively involved in National & International Organized Medicine and in Development of Novel Technologies as Applied to Neurosurgery including Neuro-robotics, Minimally Invasive Spine and Cranial Applications, Neuro-endoscopy, Stereotaxis & Neuro-imaging, and Neuroinformatics.

Dr. Epstein at the First Annual Women in Spine  Symposium, Las Vegas, NV, December 3-4, 2009.

The First Annual Women in Spine Meeting entitled First Annual Symposium in Spine Surgery: Changing Landscapes, was held in Las Vegas, NV, December 3-4,2009 at the ScienceCare Center. Dr. Epstein, along with several colleagues specializing in spine surgery participated in didactic and hands-on workshops focused on both minimally invasive and complex spine techniques.

The 2009 Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates of the Colorado Medical Society Meeting will be held at the Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center, Breckenridge, CO, September 11-13, 2009. Dr. Epstein, serving as a Delegate will participate in ongoing policy making and business conducted by the largest physician organization in Colorado.

Chair the Division of Neurological Surgeons of the International College of Surgeons at the last annual meeting held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The International College of Surgeons, A World Federation of General Surgeons and Surgical Specialists, Inc, United States Section selected Dr. Epstein to serve on the Council of Surgical Specialty Group Chairs as Chair, Division of Neurological Surgery.

The 71st United States Section of the International College of Surgeons Annual Meeting and 41st North American Federation Congress and Joint Annual Meetings of the Canadian, Mexican and United States Sections of the International College of Surgeons was held from May 27-30, 2009, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
